Forever Laser Institut was founded in Geneva, Switzerland, in December 1997.
The Institut grew out of the solo dermatological practice of Dr. Luigi Polla, opened in Geneva in 1986. After over a decade of successful dermatological work and a specialization in lasers, Dr. Polla is increasingly involved in dermato-cosmetology, namely cosmetic treatments based on dermatological practices.
The Institut is the result of this interest and of the increased demand for esthetic treatments based on science and carried out under strict medical supervision. The Institut thus blends the worlds of science, well-being, medicine, and beauty.
In parallel from his dermatological activities, Dr. Polla and his wife Dr. Barbara Polla crystallize their passion for contemporary art and creative beauty with the opening of Analix Gallery in 1991.
In January 2000, the Institut and the gallery, renamed Analix Forever, are conceptually merged: the link between the promotion of physical beauty (at the Institut) and the support for artistic and creative beauty (at the Gallery) is made. The Gallery and the Institut thus became complementary spaces united by the same idea: the pursuit of beauty in all of its forms.
Also in January 2000, Forever Laser Institut introduces the exclusive line of cosmeceuticals Alchimie Forever. Available at the Institut, these products enable our clients to bring home the essence of the Institut for effective daily treatments.
May 2003: after 5 and a half years, driven by ever increasing client interest, Drs. Luigi and Barbara Polla open Forever Laser Institut Lac, created to complement the treatments offered at the first Institut, renamed Forever Laser Institut Rhône.
That same year, Ada Polla, 25 years old, currently pursuing an MBA at Georgetown University after her BA at Harvard University and professional experience in product management of medical devices (Candela Corp.), creates Alchimie Forever LLC (Sàrl in Switzerland) for the production, sale, and distribution of the exclusive line of Alchimie Forever products (known first as Forever Choice). |
